Kimberly Caldwell: Kimberly started out the show, and sang "Come To My Window." This was just excellent. This girl is so charismatic and full of energy, and everyone loves her. This was definately the song with the best song choice. The thing about Kimberly is, no one likes her personality, which might lose her a little fans and have Julia gain a couple. Although I was starting to think she forgave Julia, I think it's a cover up. But this is a singing competition, not a Miss America. I think she'll move on
Patrick Fortson: Patrick has an okay voice, but horrible stage presence. Odd song selection. If Julia didn't make this her own, it would have sounded better on Patrick, but he wasn't near Julia. I would give this an average rating. But then, his father starts arguing with Simon. Not a good move. Anyways, this was okay.
J.D. Adams: Mr. Presidential J.D. Adams was off to a good start, with lots of fans. Then, he sang this song, and we realized that the judges didn't pick him because he had a good voice, but because of his "look." I was pretty dissapointed watching this, because I actually thought JD's original audition was pretty good. Overall, his tone was pretty flat, and he put little emotion into it.
Trenyce: Trenyce!! No one knew who she was before, until now. And that's why we can't pre-judge this competition. It's really refreshing hearing her after Patrick and J.D. But She was just awesome, and this was probably the best song out of the show so far. She has excellent stage presence and an amazing voice. Even though Simon hates the song, I think it was a good choice of song. If it were up to me, I'd let this girl through to the next round. Amazing work. Trenyce should be a star, but due to little promotion on previous episodes, I doubt she'll move on.
Meosha Denton: Meosha sang "How Do I Love" which I think Kimberly should have sung, since she's a LeAnn Rhimes lookalike! just kidding. But Meosha just did an average job at this. But then again, she's cute and has a pretty smile. She didn't "walk out a loser" but didn't "walk out a winner." She wasn't horrible, but she wasn't the best. I doubt she'll move on.
Bettis Richardson: Bettis was horrible! Somehow, I knew this was coming. Too much dancing, not enough singing. I couldn't even tell what he was singing. And I'm sorry, but I dont care how sad his sister was, she needs to realize the truth! this guy could never be the American Idol. Not in a lifetime. Worst performance of the night.
Charles Grigsby: Charles! Like Trenyce, where did he come from! Very good job. American Idol didn't give him enough airtime before, so no one liked him at all, but now i think they do. Charles has potential, but I dont really think he has the "look." I wouldn't mind if he were in the top ten though. I liked his song selection too.
Julia Demato: Maybe it's just cuz I loved her "Unbreak My Heart" audition, but I love Julia! She has a very nice tone. But, song selection is important, and I think she did a poor job at chosing the song. If she sang, say, "Come to My Window," that would have been awesome. But she sang "Son of a Preacher Man" which didn't really show off her voice. I still think she's really good, and deserves to move on to the next round. Julia has a lot of potential, and not to mention, she's hot! She's defiantely one of my favorites.
OVERALL:
1. Trenyce: Best performance of the night, and a shocker! I honestly didn't expect this from her. She wasn't a favorite, but now she is!
2. Julia: Again, awesome, just a bad song choice. She'll make it up later though, because there is no doubt she'll be in the top ten.
3. Kimberly: Third place, doesn't exactly make the top two, but if Trenyce or Julia doesn't make it, she gets it in my opinion.
4. Charles: Good, but not as good as the above three. But definately the best male performer of the night.
5. J.D.: J.D. will probably make it just cuz of his looks, but I wouldn't advance him, just because he screwed up his chances.
6. Meosha: Not good enough. Sorry.
7. Patrick: Same as Meosha. Just not American Idol material
8. Bettis: HORRIBLE! How did he get in the top 32? I hope no one else is as bad as him.

RESULTS:
BIG SHOCKS! i mean BIG SHOCKS!
Shock #1: TRENYCE didn't make it. I blame the producers for not giving her enough airplay. So now that she doesnt' make it, it has to be Kimberly, and what do you know. Kimberly and Julia are there. No suprise. Shock #2: J.D. vs. Charles. If J.D. makes it, my predictions hold true. but CHARLES made it!!!! So Amreica is wise. My #2, 3, and 4 picks made it up. I think Trenyce should have taken Charles' spot, but whatever. So, it looks obvious that Kimberly and Julia will make it, and then Charles makes it! Big Shocker!!! Maybe they wanted a male, I dont know. But I didn't think he'd make it. Then, Julia makes it over Kimberly, which is a treat. Poor Kimberly. People Dont like her because of her personality, but she can only blame herself you know. Then, at Julia's performance, Kim gives more dirty looks!!! Not good for America. She's so nice on camera though. We all know her true colors though.
REACTION: I think Julia is at a safe spot, but I think that Trenyce should have made it instead of Charles. There's no doubt that Kimberly will be in the wildcard show, and I'm hoping Trenyce will get another shot too. Unlikely though. Well, Congrats to Julia and Charles!
